You’re ready to start configuring the system.
Open the Steam menu and click on the OVR Advanced Settings button:

First, click on “Settings” at the bottom left. You will see the following menu (in two pics because of its length).
It’s important to select “Force Use Steam VR” if you have an Oculus/Meta headset. This is currently the only way to get Bigscreen to use openvr, which is what allows you to fly.
It’s important to check “Enable Motion Features When in Seated Mode (Experimental)” if this menu item exists, and you want to remain seated while flying (and most people do). The setting is removed from later versions.
I don’t recommend Autostart but you can use it at your discretion. It won’t help with flying in Bigscreen, since you will need to manually start OVR Advanced Settings before starting Bigscreen.
Once you’re done, click the “Back” arrow at the top left to go back to the OVR Advanced Settings main menu, to prepare for the Motion settings, described on the next page.
